What a wonderful week!

Wow is all I can say!  Super excited for this past week!

But first have to share this awesome photo of my nails I did last night:

This is our Multipile Chevron and Teal Sparkle Jamberrys!  I love mixing and matching.  Think this would look awesome if the nails were all Teal Sparkle and the ring finger Chevron!
(do you like my vintage green and yellow carpet in the back - LOL)

So back to my week...

I added two girls to my Jamberry team!!  And they both contacted me about it just from my posts!  Rebekah my first girl, I had sent a catalog and samples to her and her mom, and next thing I know she is wanting to be a consultant as well!  Horray!

Then my friend Consetta contacted me inquiring about them and decided to join as well.

I am so excited for both of these ladies!!

One of my projects I got finished...

I finally got my living room wall updated from Valentines Day decorations (I know a little late, but I've been busy...)

I had these old bottles and had my sister-in-law take some of my favorite photos and had them printed off into small squares and rectangles.

Now I'm talking about 1 1/2" by 1 1/2"
Some are in color, some in black and white and I just LOVE them!

Now just to get her some more photos as I have more bottles I want to do!

I just cleaned the bottles real good and used Puzzle Modge Podge on the back of the pictures.
Simple and easy!

My right photo is hanging (big time) crooked, plus the nails to hang them on are a bit off, but the walls are solid 12" of concrete, so might be awhile till some new ones get put on.

I have since adjusted it, and love my mini photos!  They are on a vintage 7up crate, the three hearts I felted myself and the flower bouquet my daughter Tori did several years ago and took first place at our local county fair.  The two egg carton flowers she made me in school when she was in first grade, and will now be 16 in September!

We have just moved in this past year, and I tore out all the old wallpaper.  It amazingly only took 5 minutes to do the living room!  No scraping, just started pulling and down she came.

Hope you have a fun weekend!  Its only to be in the 80's so I'm headed back outside.

Rain, please!!

Yea!  Doing the rain dance in Colorado for actually getting some precipitation!

Its SO dry here, not much for crops and the weeds haven't even been growing (on the flip side, haven't spent money in fuel to run the mower!)

Thus today, being very thankful for the rain.  Hopefully it will stay nice and steady.

Cooling off it makes me think of fall and all the great outfits I would love to have!  Check out the great nail shields Jamberry offers to compliment all different outfits!  Which one is your favorite?  I love the orange and white floral, but not sure how I would like them with my red (more orange and natural) hair.  Might have to try it...

I also am in LOVE with the Chevron styles!  We also have a blue/green/purple one.  The white and clear can be layered over any of the other shields.  Trying to decide which to do next!

Please leave me a comment and let me know which one you like!  Oh, and the chicken recipe from a few days a go was AWESOME!  Mr. Mechanic is getting it again tonight for our 7th Anniversary!  Love you honey!

About This Recipe

"This chicken recipe is so easy, I hesitated in posting it. But I couldn't find it posted here, and it's so good, I thought I'd share it. It's my favorite way to bake chicken because it's moist and tender every time and the flavor is delicious!"

Ingredients

    • 4 chicken breasts, with bone and skin
    • 1/4 cup butter, melted
    • 1 -2 teaspoon Season-All salt ( I use McCormick's)

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Spray a shallow baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
  3. Rinse chicken breast under cool running water.
  4. Pat chicken dry with paper towels.
  5. Place chicken in dish.
  6. Brush the melted butter over the chicken, using all the butter.
  7. Sprinkle with seasoned salt.
  8. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until cooked through.
  9. ~NOTE~Chicken takes only 50 minutes in my oven.
  10. Don't over cook, as they might turn out tough.

Peacock Jamberrys!

Check out my adorable nails right now!  They even lasted through 12 hours of playing horseshoes over the weekend!!  Just have to add I carried Mr. Mechanic in the first tournament, although we got beat out in after 3 rounds.

But in the blind draw, my partner Sean and I placed 5th!!  Not bad for only throwing a few times over the last year!  :)

52 weeks of Pinterest...might become 104 weeks!

Wow this past week (ok two weeks) have been really busy.  Nothing too major going on, but just seems like I haven't been able to get anything extra done.

My 52 weeks of Pinterest may turn into 104 weeks!  Didn't get my last week done, and honestly haven't got anything planned for this week as well.

Need to get on the horse and get going!

I have been watching the Olympics and am loving about all of it except water polo.  I just can't get into it.  They are very athletic and amazing swimmers, but I guess just not a sport for me.  Plus, all the crack shots don't get me too excited.  Think I get tired just watching it.

One of my favorite things has been Al Michaels.  I think he does an excellent job as a commentator and middle man.  (Although I am looking forward to football coming back.)

Check out the Jamberry Nail Shields that can coordinate in cheering for your favorite team!

You can order them here:

Tonight will for sure be a channel flipping night.  Olympics, Broncos preseason opener against the Bears AND Project Runway!  Why does everything always have to be on at the same times, and yet other nights there is absolutely nothing on!
