Obviously, my husband is a mechanic...we have 3 awesome kids, several different breeds of dogs, 3 Mules, 1 horse, and chickens and turkeys coming this spring! I love to design and craft in about every medium you can think of.Sallyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04300949643398456180noreply@blogger.comBlogger45125tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8088861541100706634.post-40025919477901804982013-06-24T23:30:00.001-06:002013-06-24T23:30:03.757-06:00Day 3 (remainder), 4 & 5 of my Anabolic DietSo day three in the afternoon early evening we actually stayed watching my brother and the CW firemen participate in the State Fireman games. After a 5 hour longer than planned stay and a lot of sun. I had only eaten 4 small deli slices of thinly sliced ham with two slices of American cheese and about 4 pieces of the most wonderful flavored steak skewer I shared with my sister and kiddos. We drank lots of water and I did have a large McDonald's Carmel iced coffee. <div><br></div><div>Getting home I did grill up some minute steaks and popped some baked potatoes in the oven for he family. I had a piece of the steak then also had chilies with refried beans and melted Velveeta with ChiChis salsa mixed in. It was awesome. Normally I would have wrapped the chili/beans/cheese mixture up in a tortilla. </div><div><br></div><div>More water and off to bed, sunburn and all. </div><div><br></div><div>Sunday - day 4</div><div><br></div><div>Sunday I made 3 eggs for breakfast and coffee. For lunch I reheated leftovers from the night before (exact same meal). </div><div><br></div><div>The Mechanic and I played softball for an hour and half and I also did some weight lifting in shoulders. </div><div><br></div><div>We got Subway takeout. I went with a spinach salad with tomato, steak, pepper jack cheese, onions, green peppers, and a bit of vinegar. I did add two boiled eggs to it at home. Again lots more water. </div><div><br></div><div>Feeling pretty good and leaner. No bloated feelings or puffiness. Not really craving anything. </div><div><br></div><div>Monday Day 5</div><div><br></div><div>This morning I drank dang newt an entire pot of coffee with SCM!! Had two over easy eggs. Lunch consisted of a long beef polish sausage, 4 celery stalks with peanut butter which was by fat my favorite. Again more water. </div><div><br></div><div>I did have a week moment and had several Hershies Kisses with peanut butter. More water. </div><div><br></div><div>For supper I made a roast and had onions and a large salad with tomato, cucumber, two cooked eggs and sunflower seeds. And more water.</div><div><br></div><div>Feeling tired and uninspired today. This eveni g I was gracing something sweet. I did cut up a fresh strawberry and added water and a drop of lemon essential oil to it. Worked great for getting something that was just sweet enough. Took away then craving. </div><div><br></div><div>I am still staying leaner than I was. Me Mechanic evens sled what I was doing as he could tell I wasn't as bloated in the evening. </div><div><br></div><div>Hoping tomorrow brings more energy. Althought I did he outside in the core weather to finish up! </div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div>Till Tomorrow!</div><div><br></div><div>Sally</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div>Sallyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04300949643398456180noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8088861541100706634.post-384122666450956032013-06-22T09:55:00.001-06:002013-06-22T09:55:38.412-06:00Day 3 Anabolic DietGuess I must be drinking enough water as I had to pee twice in the middle if the night and I haven't had to do that since I was pregnant! And no, I'm not expecting.<div><br></div><div>The second thing I have noticed is a funky taste in my mouth. Not really dry mouth but just funky. So I'm brushing even more. </div><div><br></div><div>This morning I made three eggs over easy in butter three slices of turkey bacon cooked in butter and two large celery sticks, and a couple cups of coffee with SCM. </div><div><br></div><div>Still feeling pretty good and more lean than I had been. </div><div><br></div><div>Off to watch my brother compete and bring home some trophies at the Fireman State Games! </div>Sallyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04300949643398456180noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8088861541100706634.post-1856456229216224762013-06-21T21:33:00.000-06:002013-06-21T21:33:40.886-06:00Day 2 - Anabolic DietWoke up this morning feeling pretty good but with a sore neck. The Mechanic had to run to Oklahoma in the middle of the night - so when two little ones ended up in bed with me - I found the couch. Needless to say my neck had a kink or two in it this morning.<br />
<br />
I started my day with a large glass of Lemon water (I use Young Living essential oils - contact me if you want to get signed up or order some!)<br />
<br />
Wasn't too hungry and had planned to work out right away, but this dang jewelry making and my creative mind got in the way. Here are some quick photos:<br />

This girl is started. I am trying to decide how I want to hang the vintage pin in the middle for the focal. Loving this one as well. <br />
<br />
These are sure going to be hard to sell as I am going to want to keep them all!<br />

<br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;">Bits and pieces I started with.</span><br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
So back to my eating day:<br />
<br />
3 cups of coffee through out the day (added sweetened condensed milk)<br />
<br />
Several glasses of water.<br />
<br />For breakfast I cooked up 3 eggs and since we had some of our hunters here last weekend they brought some Turkey bacon. I fried it up and then thought, I have to have a veggie in here. So I grabbed some frozen spinach and cooked it in Coconut Oil (which I have actually been using on my face and hair!)<br />
<br />
Threw it all on a plate and dug in. Spinach like that - all I can say is YUCK. I ran for the garlic salt and pepper. It did help, but I had to tell myself to just eat it quickly. Won't be doing that one again. Did I say yuck?!<br />
<br />
Turkey bacon isn't bad but good old pork bacon can't be beat!<br />
<br />
Lunch was - hum I can't even remember!!! This is not good. But it was good for me - no cheating there.<br />
<br />
I did have another chocolate and peanutbutter egg for a snack with water.<br />
<br />
Supper I cooked up some fish (who knows what kind but it did come from Alaska - that much I know) I think it was trout. Baked it in butter and lemon oil and had some green/red peppers that I had previously cut up and froze. I threw some olive oil and garlic salt then put them in the oven as well.<br />
<br />
Supper was quite yummy. I was still a .bit hungry so I had a small chunk of PepperJack cheese.<br />
<br />
I now need to go to the grocery store! :)<br />
<br />
I did get some leg exercises in several times today. When I started this morning I was in the middle of lunges and low and behold I look out my window and there is a freakin' snake acting like he owned the place. He now resides in the ditch across the road! Oh - and is dead!<br />
<br />
So I kinda did exercises all day long.<br />
<br />
So far feeling pretty good. Not craving anything. Hungry, but not hungry (like normal). I don't feel bloated and I have been peeing - a lot! :)<br />
<br />
Really need to dig out our scale and weigh myself!<br />
<br />
Till tomorrow-Sallyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04300949643398456180noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8088861541100706634.post-40358419921809287842013-06-21T13:44:00.003-06:002013-06-21T13:44:54.240-06:00Day 1 - Anabolic DietAfter having baby #4 (she turned a year in May), I have been trying to lose weight the healthy way.<br />
<br />
I have been trying to exercise regularly as well as eating better - healthier and not processed/junk food.<br />
<br />
I have been doing decent but not to the point of where I would really like to get down to. I had really hoped to get to wear a nice - cute - swimsuit (ok, the bikini might have been a far shot - but hey, you gotta have goals).<br />
<br />
I tend to hold a lot of weight - and not the good kind in my belly. My arms and shoulders are starting to look decent and my calves and thighs really are not too bad, just that dang belly that won't seem to reduce in size (ok so it has, but the rest needs to go bye-bye!)<br />
<br />
I have decided to try the Anabolic Diet. I follow several workout people/body builders on Instagram and one of them @Melissasarahwee has an AWESOME body - she is muscled out - and has been doing the anabolic diet to lean up. <br />
<br />
I looked it up and of course ordered the book. After searching a few places online I also found some great information at www.stronglifts.com. Although I don't have my book yet, I have already started. <br />
<br />
From what I did find you can start with the 12 day - basic detox of carbs. I'm talking carbs from breads, noodles, rices ect. Not the carbs from veggies. You also stay away from fruits. <br />
<br />
The idea behind this is to be able to get your body to rely on burning its fat stores instead of relying on food to burn. With doing this type of diet you are also to be weight training (which I am).<br />
<br />
You are basically loading up on protein for 5 days then load up on carbs for 2 (the weekend). I am starting with a 12 day no carbs. This will actually work perfect for me as the two days on will be the weekend.<br />
<br />
They do say you can become moody, tired, not feeling well for anywhere from a week or so after starting lasting a few days to a week as your body becomes accostomed to a new eating habit. - Someone might inform my husband - as he doesn't know I am starting this (although the worst thing is he will be saying I always told you to eat more protein - I can hear it already!).<br />
<br />
I started yesterday. Here is how I ate:<br />
<br />
Breakfast - didn't have anything but a few cups of coffee with sweetened condensed milk. The coffee is ok - they actually say to use heavy cream in it (didn't have) and the SCM - unsure.<br />
<br />
Lunch I had a long polish sausage, 2 long celery sticks and one other thing - but at this exact time it has slipped my mind - dang age!! Ate it all without any problems. Also had a touch of ketchup as you can have condiments/spices so your food is not drab! Oh - PepperJack cheese slices! (Yummy). <br />
<br />
After lunch I though, ok I can do this. Everything was good and it did fill me up - more than I thought it would. I also had 2 large glasses of water.<br />
<br />
For a snack I did have a few chocolate eggs - not sure if they are on the eat or don't eat till weekend list - with peanut butter (double yum!) My wonderful (she really is) mother-in-law decided to bring all their left over Easter candy to my house...<br />
<br />
I also had several glasses of water thru the day.<br />
<br />
For supper I cooked up a pre packaged (Yes I know, trying to stay away from them - but my father-in-law brought them and asked for it) chicken/pasta/veggies/sauce all in one meal.<br />
<br />
Now before, I would have ate the chicken and pasta, a few pieces of carrots and the corn in it. NO broccoii would have even touched my plate. And the garlic bread to go with it.<br />
<br />
Last night I had the chicken, broccoli, corn, and carrots. I also added 3 hard boiled chicken eggs. We do get quite a few eggs as we have 11 laying girls!!<br />
<br />
Again was pretty good. <br />
<br />
Exercise:<br />
I lifted arms and a bit of back last night. Went off my norm and did progressives with 20 lb dumbbells to 15 lbs each hand to exhaustion.<br />
<br />
I also did some ab moves, as my friend Becky started a 10 day ab challenge and although it didn't start until today - but I went ahead and did them last night when I was exercising.<br />
<br />
I had my Genesis PURE Recovery shake (yum, yum, yum) afterward.<br />
<br />
Slept from 11:30 p.m to 6:30 am.<br />
<br />
This morning I feel pretty good. I am also excited as I am taking a jewelry class with Keith Lo Bue - so working on that as well!!!Sallyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04300949643398456180noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8088861541100706634.post-59617618900119235972013-01-26T03:36:00.001-07:002013-01-26T03:36:13.225-07:00Sleep deportation...Anyone else have little ones that sleep in bed with you? I currently have an almost three year old and my eight month old that sleep in bed with me every night. Hubby has lived on the couch for the last two years - as a side note he says its more comfortable, and he's right. <br />
<br />
As we are hoping to remodel and wait until the kids are older before moving up stairs (and the fact our stairs are old, narrow and made of wood and concrete) all of our beds are in the one little room on the main floor. <br />
<br />
We have our queen bed - just the mattress and a toddler bed and full baby crib in here so there is exactly four x one and a half feet of isle way between the three and just a couple feet if room to the closet. <br />
<br />
Seriously thinking of taking the kids beds out and bringing in the twin bed. At least this way maybe I could sneak over to it and actually get some sleep!<br />
<br />
I know I won't do it, but on nights like tonight since I have been awake since 2:30 am it sure seems like a great idea. How did you get your kids to sleep in their own beds all night?<br />
<br />
Both of mine don't sleep all night and never have. <br />
<br />
Hopefully back of to dreaming - in my sleep!Sallyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04300949643398456180noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8088861541100706634.post-1888369503506087422012-11-23T15:10:00.000-07:002012-11-23T15:10:02.242-07:00Uppercase Living with Suzanne<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: small;">As Christmas is quickly approaching and I know several are out or have been Black Friday shopping today, please remember to support your local handmade artists, small businesses and independent reps! These are all the people in your community and friends that can use your support!</span></div>

<span style="font-size: small;">The big box stores can be nice for a quick one shop stop, but do you realize how much you can help a family if you shop in the small business sector?</span></div>

<span style="font-size: small;">As Christmas is quickly
approaching and I know several are out or have been Black Friday
shopping today, please remember to support your local handmade artists,
small businesses and independent reps! These are all the people in your
community and friends that can use your support!</span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: small;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: small;">The
big box stores can be nice for a quick one shop stop, but do you
realize how much you can help a family if you shop in the small business
sector?</span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: small;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="color: #cc0000;"><span style="font-size: large;">You help your friends, family and community when you stay local!</span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: small;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: small;">I
understand you can't get that huge flat screen TV with all the gadgets
in most smaller towns or small shops but there are LOTS of other great
gifts you can get.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: small;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: small;">Most
people love to get something that they know you have put the thought
into! Even if it isn't handmade, supporting an Independent
Representative from one of the many different businesses out there helps
just as much!</span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: small;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: small;">I
will try to be adding the ones I know over the next few days! If you
would like to be included please let me know and I will be happy to add
your information over the next few days!</span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: small;">Please be sure and share my blog with your friends and be sure to cli<span style="font-size: small;">ck to follow it as well!!</span></span></div>

Jessica Ridgeway was abducted on her way to school on Friday. Just so sad, it seems like all we hear about are kids disappearing lately.<br />
<br />
Jessica has yet to be found, but they did announce tonight that a body has been found. I have mixed emotions about this. First, my heart just hurts for this family. To know a body has been found, but to not know anything, I can't imagine the pain that this night will be.<br />
<br />
Then to hear that ABC news has law enforcement investigators inside the investigation telling them this is her. I don't understand why any news station would say anything in this range without having absolute conformation from the police department. If its not her - they will just sweep it under the rug.<br />
<br />
As a parent I think I would just want to find a hole and hide from everyone and any mention of Jessica unless to tell me she is home tonight. I would think this is the worst thing to hear since they discovered she vanished. A body, but no information.<br />
<br />
It just gives me the chills thinking of it. <br />
<br />
I had been trying to keep tabs on the two cousins who were abducted from Iowa almost 3 months ago and still no answers and no girls. The last article I could find was from Sept 13th. <br />
<br />
How do you go on after something like this? I would be an emotional wreck. <br />
<br />
It just makes me sad and sick that people abduct children. There is also a young girl, I believe Avery is 16 from a town near by us in Elbert, CO that was taken from the 16th street Mall in Denver about a month ago.<br />
<br />
She was performing with a group of kids from her town. Thankfully they found her about 4 days later in Boulder. She was heavily drugged and was not a runaway. Sounds like this poor girl will have quite a recovery. But the thing is you never heard about her on the news. <br />
<br />
I wonder if it is the age that determines if you get on tv or how much airs about you. Several people had thought she was a runaway and her family continued to state she would not run away. The family was right, but its hard to hear they have to almost fight the system to get Avery's kidnapper put into custody. I have never found anything in the media about what has happened with this guy. <br />
<br />
All any of us can do is hug our children and hope and pray they are always kept safe and secure. I think of these families and wonder what would I do? How would I respond if something happening to one of my kids? What else should I be telling or showing my kids to keep them safe?<br />
<br />
Please keep all these families in your thoughts and prayers and I truly hope the body that was found is not little Jessica and that she will be found quickly, safe and sound. If it isn't Jessica, I pray for and think of the family of this person. <br />
<br />
Funny how I can easily say pray for this family and that one, and I know I do, but in ways I just wonder why a God would allow this. I have been struggling lately with faith. Is God real? Does he exist? Why does it seem like the same people get all the luck? Do you just not like me? So many questions and all I can find is "believe". How do I believe when I am so skeptical and unsure?Sallyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04300949643398456180noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8088861541100706634.post-3744950761019233922012-10-09T12:52:00.000-06:002012-10-09T12:52:37.814-06:00Dr. Lindsey Duncan on Modern Diet<div style="text-align: center;">

1. Line 9-inch square pan with parchment or wax paper, allowing the paper to drape over two sides; spray lightly with cooking spray.</div>
<div style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; color: #837b70; font-family: 'Lucida Sans', 'Lucida Grande', 'Lucida Sans Unicode', 'Trebuchet MS', Geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12px; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; letter-spacing: normal; line-height: 17px; margin: 5px 0px 10px; orphans: 2; padding: 0px; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; white-space: normal; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px;">
2. In 1-quart saucepan, heat butter, heavy whipping cream, whiskey, vanilla, and 1/4 teaspoon salt to boiling, stirring frequently. Remove from heat; set aside.</div>
<div style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; color: #837b70; font-family: 'Lucida Sans', 'Lucida Grande', 'Lucida Sans Unicode', 'Trebuchet MS', Geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12px; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; letter-spacing: normal; line-height: 17px; margin: 5px 0px 10px; orphans: 2; padding: 0px; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; white-space: normal; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px;">
3. In 3-quart saucepan, mix sugar, corn syrup, and water. Heat to boiling over medium-high heat. DO NOT STIR. Boil until sugar turns a warm golden brown.</div>

4. When the sugar mixture is done, turn off the heat and slowly add the cream mixture to the sugar mixture. Be careful -- it will bubble up violently. Cook over medium-low heat for about 10 minutes, until the mixture reaches 248 degrees F (firm ball) on a candy thermometer. Pour caramel into pan; cool 10 minutes. Sprinkle with 1 tablespoon salt; cool completely.</div>

If not and you are thinking of getting a new pet you need to check out this awesome breed!<br />
<br />
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg3OR8oKrtnCcLh7Y5LWo7J8poYClUuIEpEsp9XdmXLCeKMy3o6GUKNz8UlFBdxAkm9VJZmvCM1nwUSsgzCA1PAhfwueKFden8zP50L_5-UIK4VpdA_DF1wXZItSz1ah0hJtIyYscpJ3BfE/s1600/boytrioaug0001.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img border="0" height="284" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg3OR8oKrtnCcLh7Y5LWo7J8poYClUuIEpEsp9XdmXLCeKMy3o6GUKNz8UlFBdxAkm9VJZmvCM1nwUSsgzCA1PAhfwueKFden8zP50L_5-UIK4VpdA_DF1wXZItSz1ah0hJtIyYscpJ3BfE/s320/boytrioaug0001.JPG" width="320" /></a>They are very loyal and are (in my opinion) a more grown up dog. I find young couples and newlyweds are most drawn to the Shibas for several reasons.<br />
<br />
1. Beauty - you can't beat the beautiful colors of a Shiba. If you get a red one make sure to take pictures of him each month. When he is one go back and see how bright his coat now is! <br />
<br />
2. Cleanliness - Shibas and one of the best dogs for keeping themselves clean! Seldom needing a bath (unless you come across the skunk!) these babies like to keep themselves clean and tidy.<br />
<br />
3. Low maintence - They do shed basically in the spring and fall, but it can be easily contained in a few good heavy brushings. Their hair also falls out in "tufts" and can easliy be grabbed out by your hands.<br />
<br />
4. No grooming - Unless you really want to go see your groomer, Shibas really only need their toe nails clipped! You can also make sure to take walks on concrete and this will also act as a nail file!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgeRolfaugnkY-4E8Kb_1rOXEbEO7Diupdh9rS3SwfgT8LKlSo3o6A0Ag3FNeAfNlGWvjF0_bexeICeKmVTt5XYITGTW5UkqWa45TBgDgcGCWHMQHvzX5EINulp5ubDdgZHE1HDs1XmCMsd/s1600/savannahready0001.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgeRolfaugnkY-4E8Kb_1rOXEbEO7Diupdh9rS3SwfgT8LKlSo3o6A0Ag3FNeAfNlGWvjF0_bexeICeKmVTt5XYITGTW5UkqWa45TBgDgcGCWHMQHvzX5EINulp5ubDdgZHE1HDs1XmCMsd/s320/savannahready0001.JPG" width="285" /></a></div>
5. Intelligence - Shibas are no stupid dog! They are very intelligent and require owners who can stay one step ahead of them.<br />
<br />
Shibas are know to "bolt" if off leash. We recommend using the harness collars if you are out walking or hiking with your Shiba. This gives you much more control of your dog and you also dont' have to worry about the "whip neck" if he starts to take off and you hold him back!<br />

<span style="font-size: large;">Wow is all I can say! Super excited for this past week!</span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: large;">But first have to share this awesome photo of my nails I did last night:</span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjG3ai-2uIEZsO7TQXrNj8ylZarA97NleWxtjT5fs1C8HYB_OvOtRQ5MWiBMob60oiafEyH28FSFytQ-ipFEqkzwHqeC7TTQgzx-PVMa-S-jYofxz_zReqvDWv6BB_rqUXla0MVpGeXzE3y/s1600/multichevronandtealsparkle.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjG3ai-2uIEZsO7TQXrNj8ylZarA97NleWxtjT5fs1C8HYB_OvOtRQ5MWiBMob60oiafEyH28FSFytQ-ipFEqkzwHqeC7TTQgzx-PVMa-S-jYofxz_zReqvDWv6BB_rqUXla0MVpGeXzE3y/s400/multichevronandtealsparkle.jpg" width="400" /> </a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is our Multipile Chevron and Teal Sparkle Jamberrys! I love mixing and matching. Think this would look awesome if the nails were all Teal Sparkle and the ring finger Chevron!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
(do you like my vintage green and yellow carpet in the back - LOL)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
So back to my week...</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I added two girls to my Jamberry team!! And they both contacted me about it just from my posts! Rebekah my first girl, I had sent a catalog and samples to her and her mom, and next thing I know she is wanting to be a consultant as well! Horray!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Then my friend Consetta contacted me inquiring about them and decided to join as well. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br />I am so excited for both of these ladies!!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
One of my projects I got finished...</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I finally got my living room wall updated from Valentines Day decorations (I know a little late, but I've been busy...)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I had these old bottles and had my sister-in-law take some of my favorite photos and had them printed off into small squares and rectangles. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Now I'm talking about 1 1/2" by 1 1/2"</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Some are in color, some in black and white and I just LOVE them!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Now just to get her some more photos as I have more bottles I want to do!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I just cleaned the bottles real good and used Puzzle Modge Podge on the back of the pictures.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Simple and easy!</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgryFlWsz58PTOLfc9uIbsCQI7VnUZX3spoOOhXz6R7vTLbka0fYwlTvu8M6M3RC5fiEEVCtddYI0HlSx6hAtrQtOENK89ZuW2V7y087-Txp1qcgaiEzsNaPN6QZ6iFVt1QYdLDvIBOEaWi/s1600/IMG_0834.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="239" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgryFlWsz58PTOLfc9uIbsCQI7VnUZX3spoOOhXz6R7vTLbka0fYwlTvu8M6M3RC5fiEEVCtddYI0HlSx6hAtrQtOENK89ZuW2V7y087-Txp1qcgaiEzsNaPN6QZ6iFVt1QYdLDvIBOEaWi/s320/IMG_0834.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhKjE_qN7ACGb6KtFk-beIG0gVb6fzKugGkbOGoN6A1ESTIwSk7NQ2eZ6NvNCGcieQLJ4hVBAJaPSkkUYooVq5EL6beYmuRdzQgB2uYrTt_YoRKMCcEU3UaF8H82U8QV7PfYnPdJ0X4lJ8x/s1600/IMG_0835.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="239" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhKjE_qN7ACGb6KtFk-beIG0gVb6fzKugGkbOGoN6A1ESTIwSk7NQ2eZ6NvNCGcieQLJ4hVBAJaPSkkUYooVq5EL6beYmuRdzQgB2uYrTt_YoRKMCcEU3UaF8H82U8QV7PfYnPdJ0X4lJ8x/s320/IMG_0835.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
My right photo is hanging (big time) crooked, plus the nails to hang them on are a bit off, but the walls are solid 12" of concrete, so might be awhile till some new ones get put on.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I have since adjusted it, and love my mini photos! They are on a vintage 7up crate, the three hearts I felted myself and the flower bouquet my daughter Tori did several years ago and took first place at our local county fair. The two egg carton flowers she made me in school when she was in first grade, and will now be 16 in September! </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br />We have just moved in this past year, and I tore out all the old wallpaper. It amazingly only took 5 minutes to do the living room! No scraping, just started pulling and down she came. </div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Yea! Doing the rain dance in Colorado for actually getting some precipitation!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Its SO dry here, not much for crops and the weeds haven't even been growing (on the flip side, haven't spent money in fuel to run the mower!)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Thus today, being very thankful for the rain. Hopefully it will stay nice and steady. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Cooling off it makes me think of fall and all the great outfits I would love to have! Check out the great nail shields Jamberry offers to compliment all different outfits! Which one is your favorite? I love the orange and white floral, but not sure how I would like them with my red (more orange and natural) hair. Might have to try it...</div>

Check out my adorable nails right now! They even lasted through 12 hours of playing horseshoes over the weekend!! Just have to add I carried Mr. Mechanic in the first tournament, although we got beat out in after 3 rounds.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
But in the blind draw, my partner Sean and I placed 5th!! Not bad for only throwing a few times over the last year! :)</div>

Wow this past week (ok two weeks) have been really busy. Nothing too major going on, but just seems like I haven't been able to get anything extra done.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
My 52 weeks of Pinterest may turn into 104 weeks! Didn't get my last week done, and honestly haven't got anything planned for this week as well. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Need to get on the horse and get going! <br /><br />I have been watching the Olympics and am loving about all of it except water polo. I just can't get into it. They are very athletic and amazing swimmers, but I guess just not a sport for me. Plus, all the crack shots don't get me too excited. Think I get tired just watching it.</div>

My local little grocery store doesn't have candy corn! Dislike! So guess it will have to wait until around Halloween to try it!<br />
<br />
I did find a tutorial for this great Maxi Dress from <a href="http://sweet-verbena.blogspot.com/2011/07/boho-maxi-dress-tutorial.html">http://sweet-verbena.blogspot.com/2011/07/boho-maxi-dress-tutorial.html</a><br />

<br />
I did get this started, but found it didn't quite fit right. Going to save it for once I lose some more baby weight, then think I will love it. I did cut the arm holes a bit longer as well as the neck. This girl must be around a size 6 (I'm not!). I also cut slits up both sides on the legs as I felt like I couldn't walk properly.<br />
<br />
She also dyed her fabric as it was white to begin with. My fabric had a print on it. Hopefully soon it will look lots better and I can post a photo! (Still doing as much as I can of Insanity!)<br />
<br />
Wait till you see what I do for next week! Its my own original pin for Pinterest!! Yea me!<br />

<br />
Its not that I don't like to set goals, it just seems they never get marked off the list. I have the best intentions of getting them done, then they just never happen.<br />
<br />
For instance, I had a new baby 2 months ago, and this excess weight I have carried for the last 3 years (as I have a 2 year old as well) is driving me nuts!! No I have no ambition to be super skinny or anything, but some nice muscle tone and definition would be nice. Before I got pregnant with my 2 year old, I was getting there, then my body just went nuts and I get huge when pregnant. <br />
<br />
I ordered Insanity and tried to work out after 3 weeks of having Elexx. Not a good idea. Kinda slipped my mind I have a few slipped disks in my lower back. Hurt for almost a month, and some days, I couldn't hardly walk! Talk about awful, and there isn't much that you can do except rest and hot/cold compresses.<br />
<br />
Finally started to feel better and decided to do one of the Zumba CD's that I have.<br />
I got about 3/4 thru it before I had to quit, but decided it was kinda boring (when I had once really liked it). So tried it again and let me tell you the first 10 minute warm up will have you dripping in sweat!<br />
<br />
I have done the first video twice and the cardo once. I know I am not in order that they say, but I just don't want to chance doing pylometrics yet. When it comes up instead of jumping I just pull one leg up as high as I can get it. Figure I'm still working out and something is better than nothing.<br />
<br />
Haven't got all the way thru them without stopping, but don't feel too bad, as the other people in the videos have some great bodies, but they even have a heck of a time keeping up and take brakes! (you can tell the cardio queens though!)<br />
<br />
I have been doing them every other day until 4 days ago, and haven't done anything since, so today, back on the Insanity roller coaster! But I do have to say I felt great and can tell the difference not doing it for a few days (crazy, as I NEVER thought I would say that!)<br />
<br />
So today I am hoping to work on my goal poster that I had started. Have a great and hopefully cool weekend!Sallyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04300949643398456180noreply@blogger.com0
